"Self Interview" is a performance set up to reflect on some critics and questions produced during and after the project "E.XT.E.N.S.I.O.N.S.#1". It was conceived as a kind of introduction to other projects presented in the frame work of the evenings titled "E.X.T.E.N.S.I.O.N.S#2.7" in Berlin at the Podewil on the 7th, 9th & 10th of December 2000.
Born in Juvisy sur Orge, France. Xavier Le Roy studied biochemistry at the Université Montpellier, in 1990 PhD in molecular and cellular biology. Dance education at Véronique Larcher, Montpellier, Ruth Barnes and Anne Koren, Paris. Since 1992 he has been living and working in Berlin. In 1994 he co-founded the group "Le Kwatt" together with the musicologist and composer Alexander Birntraum and the light designer Sylvie Garot. The pieces "Things I hate to admit", "Blut e Boredom" were created in cooperation with the photographer Laurent Goldring, as well as "Narcisse Flip" and the "To.Be.Projekt". In 1996 participation in the group "Quatuor Albrecht Knust".
