Wolfgang Zinggl is a curator, lecturer, and founding member of activist art cooperative WochenKlausur. Since 1993 and on invitation from different art institutions, WochenKlausur develops concrete proposals aimed at small, effective improvements to socio-political deficiencies. WochenKlausur has delivered 18 international projects in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Macedonia. Wolfgang was Federal curator for contemporary art in Austria (1997-2000), member of Unesco's cultural department (1998-2001), and is currently Director of The Depot, a contemporary art venue in Vienna.
